Eastern Europe Closed Qualifier will take place from 2025-06-04 to 2025-06-08. It is a shame that Eastern Europe got just one slot. To me, this is the most competitive region by far. Why would Valve give 2 slots to SEA and just 1 slot to EEU? Anyway, let’s see the teams and have some predictions.

There is no doubt that Aurora is the strongest team here. They are competing in the tier 1 scene and got 4th place at the last DreamLeague. More than that, I think they will secure a top 5 at the TI.

Na`Vi is back! Yuragi on carry and Copy on the mid, mid-filed team to say at most. I gave them a 44% chance to qualify for the sole purpose that I like Copy and I think the offlane with BOOM and Ari is really strong.

Tier 2/3 team in my opinion. I don’t think they can qualify for the TI. It would be an absolute madness if this happens.

Honestly? A good mix of CIS pro players. I wouldn’t sleep on them, I can smell some upset from these guys.

I mean, young G is here. But still, a tier 2 mix of players. They won the OQ1 pretty convincingly.

Here we go, boys! This is the stack that Solo was talking about (actually, this should be the Yandex stack). A very strong team, I believe in finals they will face Aurora Gaming for the slot. The team looks good, the only question mark is the midlaner CHIRA_JUNIOR, but let’s see.

Runa Team

Runa Team is also a good stack, not as good as Aurora or Cyber Goose but still a good one. I can see them beating Na`Vi or L1ga team.

Kalmychata

Not a bad team. Let’s see what they can do against L1ga Team.

Day 1 of The International 2025: Eastern Europe Closed Qualifier predictions

Source: Liquipedia
2:0

We have the second-best team in the qualifiers against OQ2 outsiders. I believe Cyber Goose will run through Quantum Esports. 2-0 for Solo and the squad.

Prediction Wrong!

Can you believe this? Cyber Goose lost 2:1 against Quantum. Wow, just wow…how bad you can be? I mean HOW CAN you lose this?

0:2

Here we have the Runa team which in my eyes will win 2:0 against the eSpoiled team. Runa’s team is very strong on paper.

Prediction Correct!

Flawless, very good execution by v1olent on TA. Also, I need to praise the midlaner from Runa Team on KOTL.

One Move dota2 TeamOne Move

2:1

Nemiga Dota2 TeamNemiga Gaming

It is a very risky match. On the one hand, we have young G, on the other hand, we have 2 very experienced supports. I would still go with One Move, even tho I think Nemiga will take 1 map from One Move. 2-1 for One Move.

Prediction Correct!

Call me Mystic Greg from now on. One thing I want to mention is the Axe from Vazya in Game 1. Absolute menace. 2:1 for One Move.

Kalmychata dota2 teamKalmychata

Well, I guess L1ga should win 2:0 here, no surprises. My point is: that many people sleep on L1GA TEAM, which is wrong. 2:0 for L1ga, no brainer.

Prediction Correct!

Is it only me, or Lina is OP? Also, V1olent on Kunkka caused some serious damage and butterfly? When was the last time we saw Butterfly on Kunkka? Never?

eSpoiled

Nimiga lost to One Move, but you cannot deny that they are better than eSpoiled team. I will go Nemiga 2:0

Prediction Correct!

I swear, only in CIS games you can see something like this. So, eSpoiled called GG in the second game but Nemiga’s throne was destroyed by creeps. Anyway, the win was awarded to Nemiga.

Cyber Goose

And now, what should be my prediction? Should I say that Cyber Goose with TA200 will wipe the floor with Kalmychata? I said the same thing with Cyber Goose against Quantum. I will still say that TA200 will win, but not a 2:0. 2:1 for Cyber Goose.

Prediction Wrong!

Cyber Goose won 2:0. I don’t understand this team. Either they win 2 back-to-back 20-minute games, or they lose in the most spectacular fashion.

2:0

Quatum dota2 teamQuantum

I cannot go against Aurora. I still believe Nightfall will end the series 2:0. Yes, yes I know that Quantum beat Cyber Goose, but in the end, Aurora is just a better team. As a matter of fact, I think they will qualify for the TI.

Prediction Correct!

Well, nothing new here. Aurora is really good, at first when they announced the roster, I wasn’t sold on it. Now, if you look they are really good in mid-late game scenarios. It is probably because they have 2 TI winners and Nightfall as a carry. I don’t believe anyone in the EEU can give them any issues, to be honest.

Runa Team dota2Runa Team

A hard game to predict, but still I would go NA’VI 2:1. As much as I don’t like their squad, I think they are way better prepared.

Prediction Correct!

Pfff, Na’VI destroyed them in 2 games. Props to Copy on mid lane.

Nemiga Dota2 TeamNemiga Gaming

I believe Nemiga will win the match 2:1. I am saying this based on how Quantum played against Aurora in the upper bracket.

Prediction Correct!

Hop, we see Undying Pos 3 from Quantum, a 27-minute game. The next two games go to Nemiga (that storm in game 2 was 15:0). Young G looks in his prime; I really like his plays.

Runa Team dota2Runa Team

1:2

Cyber Goose

Cyber Goose shall win this match. However, how pissed off I am because of their loss against Quantum I just cannot go a 2:0. But Runa Team also lost pretty convincingly against NA’VI. 2:1 for Cyber Goose.

Prediction Wrong!

Cyber Goose won 2:0. So, this is the second time I cannot predict what are going to do. Will they have a miracle and have a swift lower bracket run until the Grand Finals to face Aurora?

One Move dota2 TeamOne Move

0:2

You can’t bet against Aurora. One Move played well, but I cannot go against the team which I believe not only will qualify but will get a top 5 at TI.

Prediction Correct!

No Chance, Aurora is just too strong.

A very tricky match. I would still give the edge to NA`VI.
