Slark Lore (The Silent Survivor of Dark Reef)

Deep beneath the ocean, hidden from the world above, lies a terrible prison called Dark Reef. It’s a place so dangerous that only the worst criminals of the sea are thrown there, sentenced to live out their lives in a twisted maze of coral and sea creatures. There are slithering slithereen, deadly Deep Ones, and cold-hearted meranths, all trapped in the same deadly place. The guards are monstrous eels and giant anemones, and the only way to survive is by being ruthless and clever.

Slark was thrown into Dark Reef for reasons no one could quite remember, but it didn’t matter. He wasn’t the type to talk about his past. He learned quickly that in a place like this, you trust no one, and you keep your plans to yourself. For years, Slark survived by staying out of sight, using his skills to avoid trouble and keep others from noticing him. His stealth was unmatched, and he was as dangerous as he was quiet.

Then, one day, a group of prisoners known as the Dark Reef Dozen planned a breakout. They were a group of the most dangerous criminals, and they were determined to escape. But the plan had to stay a secret, so they killed anyone who might have known what they were up to. Except Slark—he found out about the escape and decided to join in. He wasn’t a part of the Dozen, but he knew this was his chance.

The breakout didn’t go as planned. Ten of the Dozen were killed, and two were caught and dragged back to Dark Reef, where they were publicly executed. It was a gruesome show for the other prisoners. But Slark wasn’t caught. In the middle of the chaos, he slipped away unnoticed, vanishing into the dark waters of the prison and escaping for good.

Now, Slark lives in the dangerous swamps of Shadeshore, a place where the trees seem to reach out for anything that moves. He’s the only prisoner to ever escape Dark Reef, and he doesn’t trust anyone. He’s learned to survive by staying hidden, keeping his plans to himself, and waiting for the perfect moment to strike. And just like in Dark Reef, Slark knows that in this dangerous world, the strongest and most cunning always come out on top.
