Vitalie “Save-” Melnic is a professional Dota 2 player from Moldova, born on February 4, 2002. As of May 2025, he plays as the position 4 (soft support) and serves as the captain for BetBoom Team. He is known for his strategic thinking and leadership, Save- has established himself as one of the best (In my opinion – The Best) support players in the Eastern European Dota 2 scene

Early Career

Save- began his professional Dota 2 career in 2019, initially playing for teams like FlyToMoon and Virtus.pro’s junior squad, VP.Prodigy. His exceptional game sense and shot-calling abilities quickly caught the attention of top-tier organizations. By late 2020, he was promoted to Virtus.pro’s main roster, and later acquired by BetBoom Team.

Playstyle and Reputation

Save- is known for his intelligent and calculated playstyle. As a soft support, he excels in providing vision control, setting up ganks, and initiating team fights. His hero pool includes playmakers like Rubick, Windranger, and Phoenix, which allow him to have a significant impact on the game’s outcome.

Fun facts:

Save- is the only pro player from Moldova, in CIS community he is always compared with Serghei Mavrodi. For those who don’t know, he is the pioneer of Pyramid Schemes since URSS Empire. Obviously it is a meme in pro-scene, because they look very pretty much the same.
