Volodymyr Minenko, known by his in-game alias No[o]ne, was born on September 4, 1997, in Ukraine. Like many professional players, he began playing Dota 2 at a young age and quickly stood out for his exceptional mechanical skill and competitive drive.

His rise through the Eastern European pub scene was meteoric. By his mid-teens, No[o]ne was already recognized as one of the region’s top midlaners, dominating matchmaking and catching the attention of pro teams.

Vega Squadron

No[o]ne made his first big splash with Vega Squadron in 2015. The team made headlines by winning ESL One New York 2015, where they defeated Team Secret 2–0 in the finals, stunning the global Dota community. This tournament win catapulted No[o]ne into international recognition and established him as a world-class midlaner.

Virtus.pro

From 2016 to 2020, No[o]ne played for Virtus.pro, one of the most dominant teams in the history of the CIS region. During his time there, VP became a consistent powerhouse in international tournaments:

  • Major victories: The Bucharest Major, ESL One Katowice 2018, and The Kuala Lumpur Major.
  • Top placements: 5th–6th at The International 2017 and 2018.
  • Team Chemistry: No[o]ne was part of a legendary Virtus.pro roster alongside RAMZES666, Solo, 9pasha, and Lil (later replaced by RodjER and others), known for its aggressive and entertaining playstyle.

Post-VP Transitions

He continues to compete at high levels, now known not just for his individual skill but for his leadership, adaptability, and ability to mentor younger players.

Fun facts:

In CIS community he is called “Vovan”, from his name Volodymyr. He is universally regarded as one of the best midlaners in Dota 2 history.
