Today, the organization officially confirmed the departure of their carry player, Aibek “TA2000” Tokayev, ending a short-lived venture that we hoped would be the missing piece for the legendary squad.
TA2000 joined Nigma Galaxy on loan from Team Yandex (they got Watson instead) in early November, following the team’s Top 6 finish at TI 2025. He was brought in to replace Ghost, with the goal of adding more of a greedy core to position 1. However, the results simply didn’t follow the hype. The team struggled to find their pace, finishing in the bottom tiers (12th–14th place) at both FISSURE Playground 2 and PGL Wallachia Season 6. Their recent performance at DreamLeague Season 27, where they didn’t even get out of the group stage, was the last straw.

- Hard Support: GH
- Coach: KuroKy
Now, to the question. Who can Nigma bring on in the carry role?
- Bring back Ghost (after they kicked him).
- Get a pubstar (maybe someone like Satanic, and hope that it will fit Nigma’s playstyle).
- Miracle is back?
To me, they need someone who can play THEIR YOLO style. You can’t bring a hard carry into the team that is running as 5 in the first 10 minutes of the game. I think TA200 wasn’t a fit for Nigma because of the playstyle. Why would you get a guy that farms a lot to a squad that fights a lot? Where is the logic?
Anyway, let’s hope Nigma Galaxy will bring back the King, and we will be happy.
