Attributes & Role

  • Primary Attribute: Agility
  • Attack Type: Ranged
  • Roles: Support, Roamer, Carry, Nuker

Mirana excels at ganking early, roaming between lanes to create pressure, and later contributing to team fights with her utility and damage.

Abilities

  1. Starstorm
Calls down a star to strike the target and nearby enemies for magic damage.
    • Usage Tip: Use to harass enemies in lane or farm efficiently. Hits multiple targets for strong early-game poke.
  2. Sacred Arrow
Fires a long-range arrow that stuns and deals damage, with stun duration scaling with distance traveled.
    • Usage Tip: Precision is key. Aim for maximum distance to get a longer stun. Great for initiating ganks or turning fights.
  3. Leap
Mirana leaps forward, gaining temporary movement speed and attack speed.
    • Usage Tip: Use Leap to dodge spells, escape ganks, or chase fleeing enemies. Can also reset auto-attack timers for harass in lane.
  4. Moonlight Shadow (Ultimate)
Grants global invisibility to Mirana and allies for a few seconds. Breaking invisibility ends the effect.
    • Usage Tip: Ideal for team ganks, initiations, or saving allies. Combine with Sacred Arrow for surprise pick-offs.

Playstyle

  • Early Game: Roam and secure kills with Sacred Arrow. Use Starstorm to harass and secure farm.
  • Mid Game: Rotate to side lanes and assist in skirmishes. Moonlight Shadow can turn the tide in ganks.
  • Late Game: Position carefully in fights; Sacred Arrow becomes a key initiation tool, while Starstorm and Leap provide utility and mobility.

Tips:

  • Always scout with arrows before committing to fights.
  • Save Moonlight Shadow for high-value plays or disengages.
  • Leap can reset attack animations—use it to harass without losing DPS.

Recommended Items

    • Maelstrom / Desolator
    • Black King Bar (BKB)
  • Support Options:
    • Glimmer Cape
    • Force Staff
    • Aether Lens
    • Spirit Vessel
  • Luxury / Late Game:
    • Daedalus
    • Mjollnir
    • Shiva’s Guard

Item Insight: Mirana benefits from items that enhance mobility, survivability, and magical burst, allowing her to initiate and escape safely while dishing damage.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths:

  • Long-range stun with Sacred Arrow
  • Global utility with Moonlight Shadow
  • Flexible as support or core
  • Strong ganking potential in the early game

Weaknesses:

  • Squishy and easily burst
  • Relies on skill shots for effectiveness
  • Moonlight Shadow can be countered with detection.
  • Struggles against heavy lockdown or silences

Counter Heroes

Mirana can struggle against heroes who punish her squishiness, dodge her arrows, or reveal invisibility:

  • Lion / Shadow Shaman: Heavy disables make it hard for her to escape or initiate.
  • Slardar: Amplified damage and detection counters Moonlight Shadow.
  • Bloodseeker: Global presence punishes Mirana’s low HP during rotations.
  • Slark: Can purge Moonlight Shadow and chase her down easily.
  • Nyx Assassin: Mana burn and burst damage make early ganks risky.

Counter Tips:

  • Avoid walking alone without vision; Sacred Arrow is most effective from fog or high ground.
  • Buy detection (Sentry/Ward/Necronomicon) if the enemy relies on invisibility or Moonlight Shadow.

Mirana Lore

Born under the golden banners of the Solar Throne, Mirana was a child of prophecy—a princess whose lineage traced back to rulers of untold wisdom and power. Yet, from a young age, her heart did not yearn for the grandeur of courtly halls or the burdens of a royal crown. Instead, she was drawn to the silver glow of the Nightsilver Woods, where the whispered prayers of the faithful called to the goddess Selemene. The moon’s light, ethereal and unwavering, guided her path, and in time, she forsook her claim to the throne, dedicating herself wholly to the service of the Goddess of the Moon. (Selemene is the Goddess of the Moon)

Now known as the Princess of the Moon, Mirana took up a sacred duty: to guard the luminous lotuses that thrived in the moonlit waters of Selemene’s sacred pools. These rare blooms, glowing softly beneath the celestial sky, were coveted by the reckless and the greedy—poachers who sought their radiance for power they could not comprehend. Upon her mighty feline steed, Mirana prowled the forests, her keen eyes ever watchful, her bowstring ever taut. With each arrow loosed from her lunar-forged bow, justice was swift, and the wrath of the goddess was known.

But not even the devoted are spared hardship. One fateful night, beneath an eclipse that cast ominous shadows upon the sacred woods, Mirana was ambushed. A force unlike any she had faced—mercenaries wielding dark sorceries—descended upon her, seeking to strike down Selemene’s chosen protector. Though she fought fiercely, arrows igniting the night with celestial brilliance, their numbers were overwhelming. Blow after blow, she endured, shielding her beloved mount, Sagan, from the onslaught. But exhaustion crept into her limbs, and her vision blurred as she stood bloodied and weary, her companion faltering beneath her.

As darkness threatened to consume her, a light beyond even the moon’s embrace descended from the heavens. A great celestial beast, wings shimmering with the constellations themselves, soared through the night—Axia of Metira, once the mount of Selemene herself. The divine creature let loose a cry that sent the poachers reeling, their sorceries undone by its radiance. With one final glance at the fading form of her loyal steed, Mirana felt herself lifted into the sky, carried by wings spun of the firmament.

When she awoke, she found herself bathed in moonlight, her wounds miraculously healed. Sagan, whether lost or merely resting beyond mortal reach, was nowhere to be found. But a new bond had been forged—one with the celestial beast that had carried her from the brink of death. Mirana had been chosen anew, her duty reaffirmed by the goddess herself.

Now, she rides not only as a guardian of the Nightsilver Woods but as an avatar of the moon’s unyielding judgment. With bow in hand and the heavens at her back, Mirana ensures that the light of Selemene never fades, striking down all who dare defy the goddess’s will.
