DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions

DreamLeague Season 27 is the first big stop on the new ESL Pro Tour 2025/2026 circuit, and it already feels like it’s going to be intense.

From December 10 to 16 we have 24 teams in a Swiss-system group stage; all matches are Bo3, and only the top eight will move on. Then, between December 17 and 21, come the playoffs: double-elimination, Bo3 all the way, except the Grand Final, which goes Bo5.

DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions Playoffs Day 5

I am pretty disappointed in myself. The first mistake was that I was hooked into this OG hype train and didn’t believe in a solid carry (Satanic). Then, out of nowhere, Team Yandex absolutely dogwalked Spirit into a 2-0. Overall, I am 1-2 on the prediction for yesterday. Let’s move to the Lower Bracket finals and Grand Finals!

Predictions (Team Spirit vs PARIVISION)

Team Spirit is the statistically stronger team and has already beaten PARIVISION twice this tournament; PARIVISION’s lower-bracket run suggests they are adapting quickly. Call me nuts, but I’m going with PARIVISION to win against Spirit this time. I believe they have the momentum and have adapted better to the patch.

Predictions (Team Yandex vs Team Spirit)

Over the last two days, I have felt a bit skeptical about Team Yandex. Now, I believe they should wipe the floor with Team Spirit just based on the fact that they are playing fast Dota. More than that, Larl is not here in my opinion. If you ban Invoker, I don’t think he can play any other hero.

DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions Playoffs Day 4

Again I have 2-1 on predictions. This is the second time I doubt Ame and Xtreme Gaming. Let see the predictions for Day 4:

Predictions (PARIVISION vs OG)

I know it sounds insane, but we must go with OG. Why? PARIVISION is technically more consistent; OG is riding a wave of momentum in this specific tournament. If OG can win the laning phase in Game 1, they tend to snowball the series. I know it’s a long stretch, but we must go with OG.

Predictions (Team Yandex vs Team Spirit)

Team Yandex is already in the top 3, which is unbelievable. But here is no question asked; we go with Spirit. I believe that Team Spirit is the favorite to win the DreamLeague Season 2

Predictions (PARIVISION vs Xtreme Gaming)

A very tough match to predict. In the end, we will go with data. Xtreme understood this meta better, and I think they can win against PARIVSION. However, PARI also has an ace up its sleeve. If the game gets dragged into the late game, Satanic will outfarm Xtreme and win the game. So, never doubt the king; go with PARIVISION to win.

DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions Playoffs Day 3

Today we have a lower bracket run. OG, Tundra, Xtreme, VP, and Falcons will play an elimination match. Let’s see my prediction for day 3 of the DreamLeague Season 27.

I believe that Xtreme understood this patch. Tundra is still looking shaky in my eyes. Ame already destroyed Team Falcons with a 2-0 sweep, going with them to win.

DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions Playoffs Day 2

The playoffs on Day 1 are complete; we went 2-1 (OG lost to Tundra Esports). Today we have another 3 matches, and all of them are from the upper bracket. Let’s move to the predictions.

Predictions (Virtus Pro vs Team Yandex)

Team Yandex has been the “kryptonite” for Virtus Pro throughout 2025. They already defeated VP 2-0 during the DreamLeague Season 27 Group Stage. If Team Yandex plays fast, this is an easy win for them. But, if the game gets dragged into the ultra-late, Timado will outfarm Watson and still win the game. Going with Yandex to win.

Predictions (PARIVISION vs Team Spirit)

PARIVISION pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the playoffs so far by sweeping Team Falcons 2–0 in the quarterfinals. They rely on high-tempo, aggressive drafting to overwhelm opponents early. But Team Spirit’s late-game macro and the “Collapse factor,” where they won against PARI in the Group Stage. This is one of the highest-skill matches in the whole DreamLeague. Giving the edge to Team Spirit to win.

Predictions (Tundra Esports vs Team Yandex)

Yandex plays fast, but to me Tundra is way out of the league in this match. To me, Yandex will not be able to capitalize on the early game. In the end Pure~ shall ragdoll Team Yandex. Going with Tundra Esports.

DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions Playoffs Day 1

The group stage of the DreamLeague is over! My predictions went above 83%, and I won ~$2847. The biggest disappointments (that went home after the group stage) are BetBoom, Team Liquid, and Aurora Gaming. However, we have some surprises as well. Clearly OG and VP. If you had told me at the beginning of the Dream League that OG would be first after the group stage, I would’ve said that you were insane. Nevertheless, let’s move to the predictions!

Predictions (Team Falcons vs PARIVISION)

Man, what a tough match to predict. Head-to-head, it goes to the Falcons with 7-5. But I would like to take another angle at this. So, we already saw that the Falcons really struggle against teams that push early and have a super farmed carry. (e.g., how they lost against Team Spirit). I believe PARI has exactly the same playstyle, and I will give the edge to them.

Predictions (Team Spirit vs Xtreme Gaming)

The “Ame” Factor remains one of the world’s most consistent and dangerous carries. But still, Spirit is a massive favorite here. In the last 30 days, Team Spirit has maintained an 83% win rate compared to Xtreme Gaming’s 43%. We’re going with Team Spirit to win.

Predictions (OG vs Tundra Esports)

OG finished the Swiss Group Stage with a 5–1 record, the highest alongside Team Spirit and Team Falcons. They actually have a higher “Buchholz score” than Tundra, indicating they beat stronger opponents to get here. We’re going with OG to win the match.

DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions Group Stage Day 6

Day 4 of DreamLeague Season 27 is in the books, and it was another reminder that this tournament doesn’t care about logic. We closed the day with an 8–4 record on predictions (66.67% win rate), respectable, but far from clean.

Predictions (Runa Team vs Tundra Esports)

Can you believe that Tundra lost yesterday to Nigma Galaxy? And the RUNA team won against Team Liquid? It’s a stretch, but we’re going with Tundra to win.

Predictions (OG vs Virtus Pro)

This match is an absolute bloodbath! We must go with OG for the sole reason that they are very aggressive in the early game. But, as usual, if the game goes past 37 minutes, Timado will close the deal in VP’s favor. Nevertheless, going with OG to win.

Predictions (Yakult Brothers vs PassionUA)

PassionUA is far from perfect, but they are a slightly more prepared team. YB didn’t win a single match in the entire DreamLeague, going with PassionUA to win. And I am pretty confident that Flyfly- will feed a LOT.

Predictions (Team Tidebound vs Aurora Gaming)

Guys… Aurora lost to Team Nemesis, if you can believe that. I will make it better: Nightfall lost to 23Savage.

Predictions (Xtreme Gaming vs Natus Vincere)

NA’VI always plays on the back foot. The thing about Xtreme is to pressure them in the early game. If you don’t do that, Ame will outfarm your carry and win the game.

Predictions (Team Falcons vs Team Spirit)

Right now, the Team Spirit are the safer pick. Team Falcons is still elite, but they’ve shown they can be disrupted by nonstop pressure and fearless play. Team Spirit are excellent at exactly that: strong lanes, constant skirmishing, and very good punishment when opponents hesitate.

Predictions ( Pips+4 vs Amaru Gaming)

Going with Pips+4 to win. Copy is just too good.

Predictions (BetBoom Team vs Team Yandex)

BB plays without gpk~ (due to health issues). However, Kyiotaka is back, so I think now they will have more pressure on the map due to him being extremely aggressive. I believe that BetBoom will crush Team Yandex.

Predictions (PARIVISION vs Nigma Galaxy)

Nigma just ragdolled Tundra (props to Sumail). However, PARIVISION is not Tundra, and I believe that they will outfarm and win the game.

Predictions (MOUZ Esports vs Team Nemesis)

MOUZ is not in the best shape. But to me, the playstyle is just way too good against 23Savage. Going with MOUZ to win.

Predictions (Heroic vs 1WIN Team)

1WIN can be scrappy, but HEROIC has better structure, stronger laning, and more reliable midgame execution. If HEROIC plays standard and avoids overforcing, they should control the series.

Predictions (Team Liquid vs Gamer Legion)

Even with their inconsistency, Liquid still has a higher ceiling and better overall execution than Gamer Legion. If Liquid plays their standard game and doesn’t self-destruct in the draft, they should take the series. But, I said the same thing yesterday, and they lost to Runa Team….

DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions Group Stage Day 5

Day 4 of DreamLeague Season 27 is done, and this was one of those Dota days. We finished with an 8–4 record on predictions – a 66.67% win rate, which is still respectable but definitely a step down from the previous days. OG is the perfect example. On paper, Team Spirit should win that series. In reality, OG came in full YOLO mode and never let Spirit breathe. When a team is playing with zero fear, logic sometimes goes out the window.

Predictions (Xtreme Gaming vs Virtus Pro)

Xtreme is more consistent and better in late-game execution. If the series goes long, Ame gives them the edge. But VP just won against Liquid, so to me VP is a slightly better team here. I believe that Ame will NOT outfarm Timado! Going with VP to win.

Predictions (Team Yandex vs Team Tidebound)

Yandex is simply more disciplined and consistent. Tidebound struggles once games hit midgame pressure, and Yandex will punish that.

Predictions (Team Liquid vs Runa Team)

Liquid is inconsistent, but Runa doesn’t have the firepower to punish them hard enough. If Liquid plays standard, they should control the series. However, I would not be surprised if Liquid throws 1 game to Runa.

Predictions (Amaru Gaming vs Yakult Brothers)

I will give the edge to Amaru, but both teams don’t belong in the DreamLeague Season 27, in my opinion.

Predictions (Tundra Esports vs Nigma Galaxy)

There is nothing to comment on here; Tundra shall wipe the floor with Nigma in both games. Just out of curiosity, let’s look at TA2000 and how many times he will feed this game.

Predictions (OG vs Team Falcons)

OG is riding insane momentum, and their YOLO style can absolutely steal games – we’ve seen that already. But Falcons are more stable, more disciplined, and better at punishing chaos. They don’t tilt easily, and they usually shut down reckless aggression over a full Bo3. Let’s go with Falcons.

Predictions (Aurora Gaming vs Team Nemesis)

As much as I dislike Aurora in the DreamLeague, there is no way they lose against 23Savage; let’s be real here.

Predictions (PassionUA vs 1WIN Team)

Both teams are tier 2. At least PassionUA went to this tournament and tried, but 1Win just straight up disappoints. Anyway, 1Win shall win this match based on the raw skill.

Predictions (PARIVISION vs Team Spirit)

Based on everything so far in this tournament, Team Spirit looks more stable and in better form. PARIVISION is still dangerous, but they’ve already shown cracks when teams bring nonstop pressure and confidence. Spirit will slow the game and then choke PARIVISION out. BTW: To me, this is the most skilled match in the entire DreamLeague.

Predictions (BetBoom Team vs Pips+4)

BetBoom is the clear favorite in this match. However, if they don’t ban Storm, Copy will probably rampage through the map. Let’s just hope that BB is mentally ok after that loss from Tundra yesterday.

Predictions (MOUZ Esports vs Natus Vincere)

MOUZ is more reliable in early-to-mid-game execution and usually converts lane pressure into objectives. NAVI has moments of brilliance, but they make too many mistakes once the game opens up. And we’ve seen Na’Vi choke against YB aggression in the early game. We’re going with MOUZ to win.

Predictions (Heroic vs Gamer Legion)

Even with their tendency to throw, HEROIC still has a higher ceiling and better laning than GamerLegion. If they play standard and don’t overforce, they should control the series.

DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions Group Stage Day 4

Day 2 of DreamLeague Season 27 is in the books, and it was another solid day overall with a 12–3 record on predictions and an 80% win rate. Not everything went our way (BetBoom vs. OG being the obvious miss), but that’s Dota. You underestimate a high-tempo, no-fear team like OG, and they’ll punish you for it.

Predictions (OG vs Team Spirit)

OG is flying high after their 3–0 run, and that win over BetBoom showed how dangerous they are when they get momentum. They’re playing fearless, drafting fast-paced heroes, and they’re not afraid to force fights early. That said, Team Spirit is still the better team on paper. Their map control, late-game decision-making, and ability to slow the game down are exactly what counter OG’s YOLO style. Going with Team Spirit to win.

Predictions (Team Yandex vs Xtreme Gaming)

Team Yandex has shown flashes of strength, but their games tend to fall apart once they hit midgame pressure. However, the way Xtreme plays (relying only on AME to outfarm the whole team) is not a solution in my eyes. But still, we must believe in Ame.

Predictions (Runa Team vs Amaru Gaming)

Amaru Gaming has struggled across the board in this group stage. They have a hard time finding win conditions, and once they fall behind, the games usually snowball out of control. Even in slower matches, their late-game execution hasn’t been convincing. Going with the Runa Team to win.

Predictions (Team Tidebound vs Yakult Brothers)

Unless the Yakult Brothers pull out something completely unexpected in the draft, this should be a straightforward series for Tidebound.

Predictions (BetBoom Team vs Tundra Esports)

This should be a high-level series, but it comes down to discipline versus volatility. BetBoom has the raw skill to beat anyone, yet they’ve already shown they’re willing to experiment – and that’s dangerous against a team like Tundra. But Tundra Esports plays extremely structured Dota. They punish overextensions, control the map well, and rarely give away free fights. If BetBoom drafts greedily or tries to get fancy, Tundra will slow the game down and take over.

Predictions (Team Liquid vs Virtus Pro)

Virtus Pro is dangerous, especially if the game goes late and Timado gets space, but they’ve been under a lot of early pressure in recent matches. Against a team like Liquid, falling behind early is risky, because Liquid won’t give you many openings back into the game. So, the edge goes to Team Liquid. They’re playing very clean Dota right now.

Predictions (MOUZ Esports vs Gamer Legion)

We’re going with MOUZ to win. However, if they play like yesterday against VP and they let GL past 45 minutes, they will have the EXACT same problems. Yamsun is also a hard carry who can close the game. Anyway, to me MOUZ should dominate early to mid-game and then close it.

Predictions (PassionUA vs Team Nemesis)

What can we do here? Let’s say that PassionUA is slightly behind NIGMA in skill. (based on what we saw in the DreamLeague Season 27). But here is the deal: Nemeses has this Ace by the name of 23Savage, who can throw any unlosable game. Anyway, I will give the edge to Nemesis.

Predictions (Heroic vs Aurora Gaming)

I am so disappointed in Aurora; you have no idea. But the way Heroic played yesterday (lost 2-0 to a division 2 team) is something to think about. HEROIC has the edge because they’re simply more structured. They draft with clear win conditions, control vision well, and don’t overforce fights when they don’t need to.

Predictions (Team Falcons vs Pips+4)

This one looks fairly straightforward on paper. Team Falcons has better players across the board, cleaner drafts, and much stronger execution once the game hits midgame objectives. But remember, Pips+4 just won 2-0 against Heroic. I told you that Copy is a tier 1 midlaner. Anyway, Falcons also won against PARI, pretty easily in my books.

Predictions (PARIVISION vs Natus Vincere)

Parivision should win comfortably. To me, NA’VI makes a lot of mistakes; even against the Yakult Brothers, they lost 2 lanes in 20 minutes. I don’t even want to mention Niku on mid.

Predictions (Nigma Galaxy vs 1Win Team)

I think this is the worst stack NIGMA has had in a while. TA200 doesn’t fit the team at all. How can you get from a top 6 TI to BARELY winning against 23Savage? 1Win is a tier 2 team, which is way better than Nigma right now.

DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions Group Stage Day 3

A tough day 2. NIGMA and Tundra lost their matches, which was unexpected. Nevertheless, the win rate for day 2 is 67.75%. As usual, this is Greg Spencer, and we’re going to Day 3 of DreamLeague Season 27 predictions:

Predictions (BetBoom Team vs OG)

What a match! I want to go with OG so bad (but this is a biased idea). In the end, I believe BetBoom is a better team. And you know, based on the past data, whenever BB plays against a slightly weaker team, they absolutely dominate it. We’re going with BB to win the match.

Predictions (Yakult Brothers vs Natus Vincere)

NA’VI should win the match. Yes, I know that yesterday I said the same thing against GamerLegion, and YB won the match. However, NAVI is on a different level right now, so we’re going with them. I love how gotthejuice is playing on Carry; I believe he is the next CIS star carry player.

Predictions (MOUZ Esports vs Virtus Pro)

Amazing match! Here we have 2 issues: MOUZ in early will dominate VP everywhere (since they are a snowball team). However, if the match goes past 45 minutes, Timado will outfarm Crystallis and most likely will have double the net worth. So, as we’ve seen in the past 2 days, VP can handle the early pressure; we’re going with VP to win.

Predictions (PassionUA vs Team Tidebound)

We’re going with Tidebound, no brainer. PassionUa is not a tier 1 team as of now. In the future they can grow, but right now Tidebound is miles ahead.

Predictions (Team Spirit vs Team Liquid)

Team Spirit will win this match. But Liquid yesterday won against Tundra very easily. So, if Spirit can’t take the early game pressure, I can see Liquid squeezing 1 game from them. However, Team Spirit should win comfortably.

Predictions (Team Yandex vs Amaru Gaming)

Team Yandex lost the game to OG. But they are extremely strong; we must go with Team Yandex to win. I don’t see any win scenarios for Amaru Gaming.

Predictions (Xtreme Gaming vs Runa Team)

Imagine that Runa just destroyed NIGMA with 2-0. However, Xtreme Gaming did the same thing, and we have big faith in Ame. Going with Xtreme Gaming to win.

Predictions (Gamer Legion vs 1Win Team)

Pretty even teams, hard to predict. I am going with Gamer Legion for the last time. Yes, I understand that Munkushi can solo the games, but so can Yamsun. Going with GL on this one.

Predictions (Team Falcons vs PARIVISION)

This should be the most high-skilled Dota match in the DreamLeague Season 25. It is a coin toss, but we’re going with PV to win just because they never back down. Even yesterday against Heroic, they tried 70 minutes with the PL carry. I am a strong believer in hard-carry players like Satanic, Yatoro, etc.

Predictions (Heroic vs Pips+4)

Heroic all the way. Even though I love Copy, I believe Heroic is at least top 6 in the world right now.

Predictions (Tundra Esports vs Aurora Gaming)

There is no surprise that Tundra is one of the favorites to win the DreamLeague Season 27, so based on the last 2 tournaments’ performance (and even yesterday) we’re going with Tundra to win.

Predictions (Team Nemesis vs Nigma Galaxy)

This is a show match. We have Brother 23Savage, who feeds like a maniac. And then, we have NIGMA Galaxy, who does what NIGMA does best—losses against Tier 2 teams. So, to bet? Let’s have some fun and bet on NIGMA.

DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions Group Stage Day 2

Day 1 of the DreamLeague Season 27 is done, and we’re rolling into Day 2 with serious momentum after opening the event with an 11–1 record and a 91.67% hit rate on predictions.

Predictions (MOUZ Esports vs Team Falcons)

I want to risk it here. Let’s go MOUZ to win the encounter, based on how Falcons played against PassionUA yesterday. I feel like Falcons has some issue when playing against a snowball team (like MOUZ). That’s how they lost in the finals against them.

Predictions (Team Spirit vs Natus Vincere)

I am a big NA’VI fan, and I know how they wiped Aurora yesterday. However, this is Team Spirit, and they need to prove that they are still the best in the CIS region. To me, Spirit played way better than NA’VI yesterday. We’re going with Team Spirit to win.

Predictions (Aurora Gaming vs 1Win Team)

I mean, what can we do here? Believe in Aurora? Believe in Nightfall? This is the last time we’re betting on Aurora for the sole fact that NA’VI is a way stronger team than 1WIN. If Aurora loses, this is a full disband.

Predictions (Team Tidebound vs Virtus Pro)

Tidebound came fully unprepared in the DreamLeague Season 27, we’re going to give the edge to VP. I don’t know, something is missing from the Tidebound squad. They’re playing slow and always on defense, relying on Shiro to carry the game.

Predictions (Team Yandex vs OG)

This is the most competitive game from DreamLeague Season 27 so far. On one hand we have OG, which absolutely DESTROYED Tidebound, and then we have a methodical Yandex with Watson as a carry. Based on the data, I don’t think OG can have this aggressive playstyle against Yandex, because they have pretty much the same thing. We’re going with OG to win. Yandex already won against OG in BLAST SLAM, but this DreamLeague.

Predictions (BetBoom Team vs Xtreme Gaming)

I liked Xtreme yesterday against Nigma. However, BetBoom will not let you farm an 8-slotted Medusa without being punished. We’re going with BetBoom to win.

Predictions (Yakult Brothers vs Gamer Legion)

We’re going with Yamsun, no brainer. I don’t believe at all in YB…

Predictions (Tundra Esports vs Team Liquid)

There is no surprise that Tundra is one of the favorites to win the DreamLeague Season 27, so based on the last 2 tournaments’ performance (and even yesterday) we’re going with Tundra to win.

Predictions (PARIVISION vs Heroic)

PARI looks really strong, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Whisper and the boys take a map from PARI. In the last 8 encounters (head-to-head), PARIVISION is 8-0 against Heroic.

Predictions (Nigma Galaxy vs Runa Team)

To me, Runa is the weakest team in the DreamLeague Season 27. I expect NIGMA to win confidently with 2:0.

Predictions (Team Nemesis vs Amaru Gaming)

Nemesis is still a better team here. However, mark my words when I tell you that 23Savage will feed a LOT. If Amaru Gaming can find a way to tilt 23, it will be over. But, we’re going with Nemesis to win the match.

DreamLeague Season 27 Predictions Group Stage Day 1

Predictions (Team Liquid vs Team Nemesis)

Well, in this case we have 23Savage back + 4nalog from SA. But still, Team Liquid should run through Nemesis.

Predictions (OG vs Team Tidebound)

Based on the latest tournament, we must go with OG. Even in Blast Slam V, they barely lost to Team Yandex. On the other hand, Tidebound didn’t even get out of the group stage.

Predictions (Team Spirit vs 1Win Team)

Spirit should control lanes and midgame without much trouble. 1w can scrap, but this is a rough day for 1Win.

Predictions (BetBoom Team vs Runa Team)

BB has more stable cores and cleaner map play. Runa has upset potential, but BB is just way stronger. I can see an easy 2:0 from the BetBoom team.

Predictions (Team Yandex vs Virtus Pro)

VP is interesting (basically the old TSM), but Yandex is still miles ahead. Yandex will win this match.

Predictions (Aurora Gaming vs Natus Vincere)

Aurora’s tempo-heavy style is the exact thing NAVI typically struggles against. Expect aggression and a 2–0 or a messy 2–1. Another interesting fact is that NAVI NEVER won against Aurora.

Predictions (MOUZ Esports vs Pips+4)

Usually I would go all-in on MOUZ. However, did you see the stack of Pips+4? Copy, Nande, Ekki, etc. Obviously we are still going with MOUZ, but I can see them losing 1 map.

Predictions (Team Falcons vs PassionUA)

Well, Falcons should out-skill across all three lanes. Passion Ua probably won’t keep up with the pace once Falcons hit timings. Bet the house on the Falcons.

Predictions (Xtreme Gaming vs Nigma Galaxy)

Coming into DreamLeague S27, NGX has been inconsistent. Their drafts often rely on specific comfort picks, and when they fall behind early, they struggle to recover. Coordination issues in midgame teamfights make them vulnerable to rotations and tempo plays. Even though Xtreme also looks shaky, I still believe they are slightly better.

Predictions (Heroic vs Yakult Brothers)

YkBros is an unpredictable squad that is capable of pulling off strong early aggression but often falters in coordinated midgame fights. If we look at the stats, HEROIC should wipe the floor with YB.

Predictions (PARIVISION vs Gamer Legion)
