Early Life
Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov was born on November 30, 1997, in Russia. When he was younger, he loved playing video games and quickly got really good at Dota 2. But unlike many players who focus only on fighting and getting kills, Miposhka was special—he had a great mind for strategy and leadership. This would later help him become one of the best captains in the game.
How He Became a Pro
Miposhka started playing Dota 2 professionally in 2015 when he joined a small team called Yellow Submarine. They tried to qualify for The International (TI), the biggest Dota tournament in the world, but they didn’t make it.
In 2017, he joined a bigger team, Team Empire, and got his first chance to play at The International 2017 (TI7). Even though his team wasn’t expected to win much, they surprised everyone by beating Evil Geniuses, one of the best teams at the time. This made Miposhka a well-known player in the Dota world.
After that, he played for other teams like Team Singularity and HellRaisers, but he didn’t win any big tournaments. Then, in 2020, he rejoined Yellow Submarine and helped the team play so well that Team Spirit signed them.
Winning The International
In 2021, Miposhka led Team Spirit to The International 10 (TI10). At first, they didn’t do very well, but they fought hard in the lower bracket and made an unbelievable comeback. In the grand finals, they defeated PSG.LGD and won the biggest tournament in Dota 2.
Winning TI10 made Miposhka a champion, but he and his team didn’t stop there. Over the next few years, Team Spirit kept winning important tournaments, proving that their victory wasn’t just luck.
In 2023, Miposhka and Team Spirit won The International 12 (TI12), making him a two-time TI champion. Only a few teams in history have ever done this, and it proved that Miposhka was one of the best captains in the game.
How He Plays
Miposhka plays as a support, meaning he helps his teammates by setting up fights, protecting them, and giving them the best chance to win. He doesn’t go for kills, but he’s one of the smartest players in the game. He always stays calm under pressure and makes the best decisions for his team.
His favorite heroes are Bane, Disruptor, Chen, Warlock, and Enchantress. These heroes help him control fights and keep his teammates safe.
