I prepared some DreamLeague Season 25 group stage day 1 predictions below. I will add the actual results against my predictions. DreamLeague Season 25 is a tier 1 tournament and very important for EPT points. I also made some predictions for each team that can win the DreamLeague Season 25. Let’s see how my Dota2 predictions are working, I cannot wait for the group stage to start and watch some DOTA. And remember lads, ALWAYS watch the draft.
The Group Stage 1 Day 1 of the tournament will take place on February 16, 2025.During this stage, two single round-robin groups of eight teams each will compete. Predictions (Falcons vs Tundra Esports)

I believe that Tundra will win 1 map and Falcons 1 map. These 2 teams are favorites to win the tournament.

Tundra Esports won 2-0. DyrachYO on PA did the job in both games. Even if ATF had Timbersaw it was an easy game 2. Regarding game 1, I thought Falcons had it in the bag because of 3 scaling heroes (DK, Bristle, Abaddon). But again, Anton just destroyed them on the PA with a rampage.

Let’s be honest, if BB doesn’t throw: They easily get 2 maps from Xtreme with zero effort. I rank BB as a very strong team. Let’s just hope they don’t go Tormentor.

Told you :). It was an easy prediction. BetBoom won 2-0 easily. First game with 3 super mobile cores (Beastmaster, Monkey, and Night Stalker) – total stomp. Game 2, gpk~ just stilled on Xtreme (9-0 Pango with 20 min aghs).

Pakazs is now a stand-in for SR (he will play offlane role). Did they really rate Timado higher than Pakazs on pos1 (carry)? I believe Pakasz is way better as a carry player, but I put a 0:2 as I don’t believe at all in Abed’s stack.

Shopify won 2-0 as expected. But man, I want to say sorry for saying Timado is a bad carry. Game 1, Spectre (18-0) -> 18-0 lads…For the Game 2, he was 15k net worth above enemy carry. So, hats off to Timado for showing up.

I expect Heroic to wipe the floor with 9Pandas, to be honest. They switched mid-player 1 day before the tournament (erase->serenada). It is an unknown pub player. I will bet my money on Wisper and the squad easily.

Heroic won 2-0, EASY money! The only thing I want to mention is Yuma on carry. Man, he had 2 flawless games. Ursa 16-0, Spectre 15-2. Absolute chad, I always praised Parker but Yuma is also on point. He seems to farm players more than creeps.

For the very tricky matchup, I would say either 2:0 PARIVISION or 1-1 split. It really depends on how Nisha does in the mid-lane against Noone. Or how SaberChad will throw or not 🙂

Well, Satanic on PA is a different breed (In game 1, stomped Liquid). As I told you, game 2 goes to Nisha and the squad.

I will be generous and put a 2:0 GG. However, I’m really surprised at how bad they looked in the qualifiers (they lost to Secret and YB easily). But still, I think Quinn and watson can carry 2 maps.

Even if Seleri left GG, this Malady is not that bad. Stomped Boom in both games. And again, PA needs a nerf lads.

2:0 for Yatoro, no questions asked. Chimera also has TA2000 (which is a beast), but I think Spirit is way more disciplined in the mid to late game. Even if they got Daxak back, I don’t think they are on good terms.

Team Spirit defeated Chimera Esports 2:0. As I told you, Chimera is a good team, but Spirit is just on another level when it comes to mid-late game decisions. Did you’ve seen that Bloodseeker Dagon from Yatoro? Not to mention Medusa with 870 GPM (Yatoro) in game 2.

They will split the maps. Looking at AME’s team in WEU qualifiers, they either look good or just lose 2:0 easily.

YB won the match 2-0. Game 1 Ame (24-2 on PA) Emo (14-1 on Storm). Game 2, BoBoKa one-man army on Venomancer with aghs and Skadi. Do I need to remind you that he is pos 4?, I also think YB got some momentum going on since their run in the WEU qualifiers.

Shopify defeated Xtreme 2:0. I am very impressed with how SR is playing this tournament, especially Timado (I know he gets a lot of hate) but you can’t deny how good the guy is in the DreamLeague Season 25.

Tundra Esports defeated 9Pandas 2:0. Looks to me that Tundra is indeed a favorite to win DreamLeague Season 25. You can’t deny that they are a super-team right now. But, V-Tune deserves some praise as well, his DK play was on point in game 2.

I don’t believe in GG, but I also don’t see Liquid as a super team.(like at the TI with 33) So, I think they will split the maps.

Gamin Gladiators vs Team Liquid 1:1. It was a draw, as I predicted. But, I am not sold on this GG stack, to be honest. I think they will have some serious issues in DreamLeague Season 25 Group Stage Day 2. Classic Liquid games?

Team Spirit stomped PARIVISION 2 games in a row. Can’t believe that this happened, and what is with that Alchemist pick 2 TIMES for Satanic? I swear, every time they pick it – it’s a loss. And this Collapse man, if he plays some greedy pos 3, he will be a carry in 20 minutes of the game.

It was a draw as I predicted. However, I want to say that Daxak is just not prepared for this tournament. This kind of play is not for tier 1 Dota. I think Chimera needs some pos3 play-maker.

What did I tell you? Yakult Brothers either play like Gods, or they just get stomped by any team. A very unpredictable and unstable team from my point of view.
DreamLeague Season 25 Group Stage Day 1 prediction results:
My predictions on DreamLeague Season 25 Group Stage Day 1 are up (10-6), so I won 248$ (I lost a lot of money on PARIVISION vs Spirit). Never expected them to lose 2:0. In the end, pretty happy with the results, and let’s go to the Dota2 predictions DreamLeague Season 25 group stage Day 2.
